Our Story

In 2018, out of a drunken idea, Salford Rum was born. For seven years, we ran Salford Rum exclusively - perfecting our craft and grafting at makers' markets until we became a staple of the city.

But Salford has never stood still. In 2026, we evolved. While Rum remains at our core, we have grown into the Salford Distillery. We are bringing that same intuition and standard to our brand-new Salford Gin - built on history, made for what’s next.

Ingredients 50ml Salford Dark Spiced
150ml Premium Ginger Beer
Large cubed ice
Method

Fill a glass of your choice with ice. Add the dark spiced rum and top with ginger beer. Stir briefly.

Garnish Fresh mint sprig and a lemon wedge
Ingredients - 50ml Salford Original Spiced Rum
- 40ml Apple Juice
- 25ml Lemon Juice
- 15ml Peach Syrup
- 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
- 30ml Ginger Ale (to top)
Method

Add all ingredients except the ginger ale to a cocktail shaker. Shake hard with ice and strain into a highball glass over fresh ice. Top with ginger ale.

25ml Fresh Lime Juice
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Method

Fill a tall glass with ice. Add the lime juice, bitters, and ginger beer. Gently float the Salford Dark Spiced on top to create a layered effect.

- 150ml Premium Ginger Ale
- Large cubed ice
Method

Fill a highball glass with plenty of ice. Pour in the spiced rum and top with ginger ale. Stir gently to combine.
