THE SALFORD DISTILLERY

It started with a drunken idea back in 2018. That’s how Salford Rum was born. We didn't start in a boardroom; we started in the thick of it. For seven years, we ran Salford Rum exclusively - grafting at makers' markets in the pouring rain, perfecting our blends, and earning our place on your shelves bottle by bottle. We didn't buy our reputation; we built it.

In 2022, we opened the doors to our very own distillery under the railway arches - the first real home for our spirits. Since then, we've welcomed thousands of people through the doors for tours and tastings. By August 2025, we fully refurbished the space, turning a working distillery into a destination worthy of the city's name.

But Salford isn't a city that stands still, and neither do we. In 2026, we evolved. We realised our passion for proper spirits couldn't be contained to just one category. While Rum remains the beating heart of what we do, we have grown into something bigger: The Salford Distillery.

We are bringing the same intuition, grit, and exacting standards that defined our Rum to our brand-new Salford Gin. Whether it’s the dark, spiced depths of our rum or the crisp finish of our gin, everything we put our name to is built on the history of this city, but made for the future of drinking.
