Salford Distillery - Event Booking Terms & Conditions

Booking Confirmation

  • A provisional enquiry does not reserve or guarantee a date. A date is only strictly held and secured once we have formally accepted your booking in writing and received your deposit.
  • For events taking place between 1st January and 21st November 2026, a 10% non-refundable deposit is due within 5 working days of our formal acceptance of your enquiry to secure the date.
  • For Christmas bookings taking place between 22nd November and 31st December, a 25% non-refundable deposit must be paid within 48 hours of our formal acceptance of your enquiry to secure the date.
  • For all events, the remaining balance must be paid in full at least 7 days before the event.

Date Changes & Customer Cancellation

  • You may request to change the date of your event up to 10 days prior to the original booking date. Changes are subject to venue availability and scheduling.
  • All cancellations must be submitted to us in writing via email.
  • If you cancel your event, the standard 10% deposit is retained.
  • Because festive dates are in high demand and difficult to rebook at short notice, the 25% festive deposit is retained upon cancellation.

Cancellation by Salford Distillery

  • If we are forced to cancel your event due to reasons within our control, we will provide you with a full refund of all monies paid (including deposits) or offer an agreed alternative date.

Venue & Alcohol Rules

  • All events are bound by our premises licence. Guests must be 18 or over to consume alcohol. We operate a strict Challenge 25 policy; valid photo ID may be required.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to any intoxicated guests. No outside alcohol is permitted on the premises unless expressly agreed in writing beforehand.
  • The booking organiser is responsible for the conduct of their guests. We reserve the right to eject any guests displaying disruptive or aggressive behaviour. Any damage caused to the venue, equipment, or distillery property by guests will be billed directly to the organiser.
  • Temporary decorations are permitted but must be agreed with the event coordinator in advance. No decorations that could cause permanent damage to the venue fixtures or walls are allowed.
